Slimmers World Int'l Miss Bikini Philippines Princess Abella ready to shine in Miss Bikini INTERNATIONAL 2010 in Beijing & Sanya, China

Princess Angela Abella, the radiant crown holder of Slimmers World International’s 2010 MISS BIKINI PHILIPPINES, takes the stage once more, competing in Miss Bikini International 2010 in Beijing, China from May 15 to June 1, 2010.

Miss Abella, a print and ramp model from Cebu City, stands as one of the most luminous of title holders of Miss Bikini Philippines. Now she is stepping up, ready to outshine more than 70 other delegates for the Miss Bikini International title.

Established in 1972, Miss Bikini International traces its roots as a local beauty contest. Over the years it evolved into one of the more prestigious pageants, founded on values beyond the appreciation of beauty, including friendship among countries and the promotion of world peace.

Miss Abella will compete in several categories along with the title of Miss Bikini International. The categories include Best in National Costume, Best in Evening Gown, and the Talent Competition.

Slimmers World Int'l crowns Miss Bikini Philippines 2010 for International Pageant

In the 3rd season of Miss Bikini Philippines, Slimmers World International completed the search for the country’s representative to Miss Bikini International at the Aliw Theater, CCP Complex Roxas Boulevard last Saturday, May 1, 2010. From among 23 deserving candidates, one stands above her peers. Taking her first step towards the international stage, Candidate #8 Princess Angela Abella from Cebu City won the crown of Miss Bikini Philippines 2010.

Abella brought home P500, 000 in cash and prizes along with the prestige of the title and the honor of representing the country to international pageants. The 1st runner-up, #20 Suzie Brown from Davao City won P200, 000 in cash and prizes. The 2nd runner-up, #5 Rhoane Aguilar from Cavite took home P150, 000 in cash and prizes.

Seven special awards were also handed out to several candidates for their outstanding qualities. The Best in National Costume title was awarded to #7 Aiza Faeldonia from down south, Koronadal City. Best in Talent was given to Candidate #4 Maria Kristel Empeño from Olongapo City while the Miss Congeniality award was handed out to proud Cebuana # 17 Roxanne Acosta. Decisive Moments, the official photographer of Miss Bikini Philippines 2010 voted for Candidate #9 Elvira Hernaez as Miss Photogenic. Candidate #5 Rhoane Aguilar topped the scores during the Press Launch and bagged the Best in Long Gown title. Chinese Candidate #24 Karvina Monika Li from Binondo bagged 2 minor awards, Darling of the Clients, the candidate who garnered the most number of votes during the Slimmers World center visits and the Miss Great Skin title.
